Our client in the
Seattle, WA
area is an established Architecture Firm and is looking for an Experienced
Architect
to support their expanding project list.


JOB SUMMARY:

Working alongside other team members, this professional develops residential architect designs under general supervision by the business owner.

• Candidate must be experienced in residential design, and be able to manage a design project on his/her own.
• Work directly with clients to realize their dream design.
• Has experience working with construction contractors and local governments on client's behalf.
• researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work.
• Create drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, and implements any changes as directed.
• Assists project teams and other staff members as required.

Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

• 10 yrs experience in residential architecture design - single family homes preferred.
• Demonstrated skills and talent in AutoCAD (Sketch Up and other 3D program skills a plus),.
• Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong follow-through.
• Have excellent English skills (spelling, grammar, etc.)
• Strong verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Commitment to their own professional growth as designer, architect.
• Commitment to obtaining licensure preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
