Project Architect Qualifications
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- Design and detail-oriented generalist with experience in a variety of project types and scales
- 8 to 12+ years of experience in Architecture, working in teams and leading/managing projects (preferred candidates with license)
- Solid written and graphics communications skills
- Ability to lead a project from inception to completion, either independently or with a team
- Demonstrated passion for collaboration with team members and coordination of work with engineers and other consultants
- Familiarity with Land Use and Building Code research and providing code summary analyses
- Experience with Quality Control review of Construction Documents
- Proficiency with technical building design and details for tenant improvement and new construction
- A love of juggling multiple roles and project types/sizes, and the diversity of experience that comes from this
- Thrive working within multiple roles, project types and scales, with an ability to effectively balance diverse project responsibilities and sizes while maintaining a high standard of design excellence
- Excitement for being a part of a fun-loving firm and a desire to contribute and participate in the office’s culture
- Planning and design of community-oriented public projects
- Restaurant and food service planning and design
- Residential planning and design
- Urban design and master planning
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and fee estimate structure
- Interest and willingness to provide firm-wide support for design technology tools, including Revit, rendering software, etc.
- Background and experience in product/industrial design
- Fabrication/construction experience a plus!
- Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 with a generous benefits package. Final salary decisions are determined by local market, a candidate’s skillset, years of experience, and internal equity.
