As an Industrial Designer, you have an immense passion for design. As a design leader, you are skilled at harnessing the wide‑ranging skills of a highly motivated group of industrial designers. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
  • Manage and lead the Industrial Design team, design process and best practices while working cross‑functionally within our New Product Development (NPD) community.
  • In this role you will lead and encourage a team of designers and together will help determine aesthetic direction, materials, construction methods, mechanisms, shape, finishes, and manufacturing processes of final products
  • Responsible for building, mentoring, and supporting a team of dedicated industrial designers in bringing innovative, ground‑breaking, and balanced products to life
  • Lead industrial design team through high volumes of development work within expected and manageable timelines alongside a cross functional team of product managers, developers, engineers, quality assurance, and supply chain professionals
  • Build and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, exceptional design impact, engagement, and celebration of wins
  • Guide and focus the team’s creation and execution of design work to excellence, from concept to design finalization, on time and on budget.
  • Manage allocation of  resources across a large portfolio of products ranging in complexity, scope, and project stage in order to deliver exceptional results on time
  • resource management: reviewing project status, refining project schedules, communicating with cross‑functional peers and leadership, etc.
  • Partner with leadership to determine product design strategy and priorities
  • Partner with engineering and product leaders and teams to problem solve and envision intuitive user interfaces and functionality
