Interior Designer – Hybrid in Seattle, WA
We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer with a focus on furniture specification to support a high‑volume corporate account. This role centers on furniture layout, specification, and order accuracy for private offices and support spaces within commercial environments.
This position is ideal for someone with experience either through a contract furniture dealer or an Architecture & Design background who has been involved in furniture selection and specification. Strong proficiency in CET is highly preferred, while AutoCAD experience is important but can be learned or supplemented.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with clients and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and specify furniture layouts for private offices and support spaces
- Ensure order accuracy and detailed furniture specifications
- Collaborate directly with clients to deliver functional and aesthetic solutions
- Utilize CET (can be trained) and AutoCAD for space planning and design development
- Partner with internal stakeholders including sales, project management, and installation teams
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, accuracy, and timelines
- ~5+ years of relevant experience in contract furniture, or interior design / A&D with hands‑on furniture specification experience
- Strong proficiency or experience with CET (highly preferred)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (important but not required to be advanced)
- Experience in commercial office space planning
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with Sketch Up or Project Spec
- Background in interior architecture or design development
- Experience working with furniture manufacturers or dealers (Haworth a plus)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborative, cross‑functional team (design, sales, PM, installation)
- Fast‑paced, project‑driven workflow with shifting priorities

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
