Project Designer

Motionspace Architecture + Design is a small, design‑focused studio specializing in residential remodels and additions, custom homes, and multifamily housing. We are seeking a full‑time Project Designer who can manage and design multiple projects with a high degree of autonomy, contribute to a collaborative studio culture, and deliver thoughtful, well‑crafted work.

We value clarity, responsibility, and strong design thinking. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small practice environment where initiative and ownership are essential.

• A degree in Architecture (professional degree preferred)
• Single family and multifamily design experience
• Experience coordinating with building departments and managing permitting
• A strong design background
• Ability to work with other team members
• Ability to plan and manage tasks independently across multiple projects
• 5 years minimum industry experience
• Architectural licensure not required for this role

• Revit production experience required, 3+ years experience preferred on professional projects
• Bluebeam
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, One Note

• Using Revit to create drawings from As-builts to Construction Documentation for multiple projects at a time.
• Using Bluebeam Studio Sessions to review drawings and collaborate with other team members.
• Using One Note to manage project information.
• On site documentation and generating as‑built models in Revit from 3D Point Cloud scans.
• Engaging in our weekly office meeting to discuss issues, solve problems together, and review workload.
