Senior Job Captain

Ware Malcomb, a forward‑thinking design firm, is seeking a Senior Job Captain to support the delivery of innovative design projects to diverse clients. The role involves leading project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contributing to all phases of design and providing construction administration support.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead project coordination with the consultant team for each project phase (Site Planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document and Construction services) to deliver contract documents for permits and construction.
• Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for the preparation of project documents.
• Utilize the company’s resource groups for design and preparation of design and construction documents.
• Assist the Project Manager with construction services (site visits, review of shop drawings, etc.).
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project.
• Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of project schedules and review of budgets.
• Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Architecture.
• Experience working on retail projects strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture preferred; equivalent related experience considered.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.
