Lighting Designer I

• Develop design and technical skills to grow as a professional lighting designer
• Support design and production documentation conveying lighting design concepts and intent
• Use hand sketching, mock-ups, design charrettes, Revit/BIM production, and lighting calculation software
• Interact professionally with internal and external project team members
• Attend meetings representing PAE under the LUMA brand
• Complete assigned work on time with instruction from project leads
• Support preparation and production of detailed project deliverables
• Participate actively in project design and construction phases
• Participate in lighting industry organizations and events
• Perform other duties as assigned

• College Degree required, preferably in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or Theatrical Lighting
• Time management and organization
• Open and receptive to constructive critique
• Clear graphic and oral communication of design
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM), preferred
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design
• Experience with photometric analysis software (AGi
  32), preferred
• Experience with 3D digital design modeling software such as Sketch Up, 3DS Max, Rhino, or similar, preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrates expertise in lighting design through proficiency in Revit/BIM, photometric analysis software, and 3D digital design modeling. Strong organizational and time management skills, coupled with effective communication and collaboration abilities, are essential for successful project execution.
