Designer, Fashion Design​/ Tailoring, Creative Design ​/ Digital Art

• Support design leadership in building Seasonal Brand Design Direction for the assigned area
• Conduct continuous customer, trend, and competitive landscape research
• Own concept and design for assigned products, supporting brand direction, concept, and line plan needs
• Research materials and select fabric and trims
• Work closely with the print team to bring textile applications to life
• Partner with design leadership to color the line
• Support the creation and curation of visual tools for seasonal storytelling
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and expected outcomes
• Own seasonal brand design and create Nordstrom-brand products that exceed customer expectations

• Bachelor's degree in Design preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience in design industry
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Adobe CS (required)
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Ability to hand-sketch
• Able to quickly adapt to new technology and systems
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong understanding of industry and trends within your assigned categories
• Portfolio of work required (PDF or link) in addition to resume
