Senior Captain, Retail Architecture – Design

• Lead project coordination with consultant teams across site planning, conceptual, schematic, design development, construction document, and construction phases
• Deliver contract documents for permits and construction
• Provide AutoCAD/Revit support for project document preparation
• Use company resource groups to prepare design and construction documents
• Assist the Project Manager with construction services, including site visits and shop drawing reviews
• Perform project code searches and analysis
• Assist with project schedules and budget reviews
• Assist with submittals for jurisdiction agencies
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members
• Support innovative design projects through all phases of design and construction administration

• 5+ years of experience in the field of Architecture
• Experience working on retail projects strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is preferred; equivalent related experience will also be considered
• Revit skills
• Knowledge of building codes
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents

Demonstrates expertise in project coordination and document preparation within the architecture field, with a strong focus on Revit proficiency and knowledge of building codes. Capable of effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders throughout all phases of design and construction.
