Aboutthe Clinician's Workday
The thoracic surgeon will provide comprehensive inpatient thoracic surgery services including chest tube insertion, open and thoracoscopic general thoracic procedures, and foregut surgeries. The position requires 24‑hour call coverage with board certification mandatory for credentialing. The clinician will work on‑site managing surgical cases with a caseload of 6‑12 procedures per day. Prescriptive authority and call coverage responsibilities will be integral to the role.
