The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Immunology, at the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies (CIIT) in the Seattle Children’s Research Institute (SCRI) is recruiting a faculty member as an Assistant Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), Associate Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), or Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), on the Clinician-Scholar track, commensurate with experience and qualifications, to contribute to clinical care in our growing clinical pediatric allergy service.

Anticipated start date is early 2026.

The successful candidate will join a diverse faculty of clinicians, physician-scientists, and scientists to participate in the diagnosis, treatment and advancement of knowledge and novel therapeutics for people with inborn errors of immunity and allergic disorders.

The successful candidate will contribute to a growing outpatient allergy clinical service, would have the opportunity to develop a food allergy program and participate in an eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorder clinic, and participate in a robust inpatient and outpatient consult allergy service at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The Division co-directs the University of Washington, Allergy and Immunology Fellowship program, and is strongly committed to the training of Allergy and Immunology Fellows. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, fellows and junior faculty.

All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.

Must have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent). Must be Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in ALLERGY/IMMUNOLOGY and must be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington.

Completion of residency training in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics and fellowship training in Allergy/Immunology is also required.
