Gastroenterologist
A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding Gastroenterology team. This is a collaborative, patient-centered environment serving a diverse population, supported by strong system-wide clinical resources and multidisciplinary coordination.
The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Position Overview- Provide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care in collaboration with Gastroenterology physicians
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
- Conduct follow-up visits for patients with IBD, GERD, liver disease, pancreatic disorders, and other digestive health conditions
- Provide pre- and post-procedure education and management for endoscopic procedures
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, surgeons, oncology, and hepatology teams
- Manage medication regimens, including biologics and specialty therapies
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Gastroenterology service line
This role is ideal for an APP who values team-based specialty care, clinical autonomy within a collaborative structure, and practicing in a well-supported Gastroenterology program.
New graduates with strong clinical training in Gastroenterology are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications- Master’s or Doctorate degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program
- Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
- Washington State NP license (or eligible)
- Active/Eligible DEA registration with full prescriptive authority
- Experience in Gastroenterology preferred, but not required
