Physician​/Radiology​/Washington​/Locum tenens​/Locum Tenens Radiologist in WA

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based setting near Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment.

Position Highlights:

• Duration: January 1, 2025 February 28, 2025
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call responsibilities during the week and 24-hour call on weekends.
• Volume: 811 cases per day, focusing on paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies.
• Facility Type: Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual emergency room volume of 55,000.
• Team: Collaborate with 2 on-site interventional radiologists and a larger system-wide team of 25+ professionals. Standard IR support staff included.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (AO  or A ).
• Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (IR) is highly preferred.
• Active Washington State medical license.
• ACLS certification.
• Clean background for expedited credentialing.

Skills & Procedures Needed:

• Diagnostic imaging:
  Angiography, CT, and Ultrasound.
• Interventional procedures:
  Angioplasty, stent placement, chemo embolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty.

Additional Details:

• EMR: EPIC for hospital documentation;
  Philips ISite platform for teleradiology.
• Credentialing process: 60120 days.
• Patient population:
  Adults, including geriatric and adolescent patients.
