Infectious Disease Physician – Independent Practice (Ownership Model, Not Employed)

Independent Practice Opportunity

• Provide care within the specialty scope of infectious disease.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships within the medical community.
• Coordinate payer credentialing and contract negotiations.
• Determine clinical services offered and maintain clinical quality and patient experience.

• Practice formation coordination
• Billing and collections management
• Payer contract negotiation
• Financial infrastructure and reporting
• Operational workflows and staffing systems
• Technology platform and implementation

• MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided.
• Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable.
• Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates.
• No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice.
• Interest in the independent practice model.

• Desire for practice ownership.
• Community‑based care interest.
• Leadership or program development interest.

Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure.

Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice and varies based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.

Physicians operate their own medical practice entity and are not employees of MedCBO. MedCBO provides administrative support services only. Practice performance, revenue, and income depend on physician decisions, clinical activity, and market conditions.
