Role OverviewThe Family Medicine Physician Advisor will play a critical role in assessing potential investments, advising on clinical feasibility, and supporting portfolio companies. As a key medical voice in our team, you will leverage your clinical experience in family medicine to help identify groundbreaking solutions that align with patient needs and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Evaluate healthcare startups, focusing on their medical validity, clinical impact, and scalability.
- Provide family medicine physician expertise in due diligence processes, including reviewing business models and medical claims.
- Advise portfolio companies on clinical best practices, regulatory compliance, and patient engagement strategies.
- Stay updated on healthcare trends, Medicare/insurance policies, and emerging technologies relevant to family medicine and primary care.
- Assist in networking with other healthcare professionals and thought leaders to enhance investment opportunities.
- Board-certified Family Medicine Physician with at least 5 years of clinical experience.
- Experience in digital health, telemedicine, or healthcare startups is a plus.
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, clinical workflows, and patient care models.
- Interest in healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
- Ability to analyze business plans and communicate medical insights to non-clinical stakeholders.
