Evaluation, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Acute Non-Life-Threatening Illnesses and Injuries

Occupational Health, Pre-Employment, Pre-Placement, Medical Surveillance, Fitness-for-Duty, Return-to-Work, and Work-Related Injury Evaluations

Travel Medicine Risk Assessments, Counseling, Immunization Recommendations, and Prophylactic Medication Management

Interpretation of Laboratory Results, EKGs, and Available Imaging Studies

Minor Procedures, Including Wound Care, Laceration Repair, Incision and Drainage, and Splinting as Clinically Appropriate and Privileged

Assessment and Stabilization of Emergent Conditions with Coordination of Transfer to a Higher Level of Care

Medical Clearance, Respirator Clearance, Hearing Conservation, Accommodation Review, and Mission-Essential Role Assessments as Applicable

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree:
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an Accredited Medical School;
Education Equivalency Substitutions Are Not Permitted

Residency:
Completion of an Accredited Residency in Occupational Medicine or Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or a Related Specialty

Licenses:
Current, Full, Active, and Unrestricted Physician License Acceptable Under Applicable DHS/DHA and Duty-Location Requirements

Board:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine;
Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Another Relevant Specialty May Be Considered in Accordance with Government Requirements
