Description
This on-site, contract position provides physicians with the opportunity to deliver expert cardiac electrophysiology care while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.
In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias, perform advanced electrophysiology diagnostics and procedures, and develop individualized care plans that improve patient outcomes. Your work will directly support our medical practice's commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive consultations for patients with atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, ventricular tachycardia, and other arrhythmias
- Perform and interpret diagnostic electrophysiology studies, including intracardiac mapping and programmed stimulation
- Conduct catheter ablation procedures for complex cardiac arrhythmias
- Implant, program, and manage cardiac devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable loop recorders
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical profile
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient management
- Document clinical findings accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Provide on-call coverage and emergency electrophysiology consultations as required
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety protocols, and clinical research activities
- Educate patients and families about arrhythmia management, treatment options, and follow-up care
- Medical degree from an accredited program:
Doctor of Medicine (MD)) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)) - Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency program
- Board certification or board eligibility in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology
- Demonstrated associate-level clinical experience in electrophysiology
- Fellowship training in cardiac electrophysiology from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state where services are performed
- Strong procedural competency in catheter ablation and cardiac device management
- Ability to interpret invasive cardiac electrophysiology studies and related diagnostic data
- Excellent patient communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive in an on-site, contract-based clinical environment
- Commitment to compliance with medical practice standards, patient safety, and regulatory requirements

Monday-Friday (7a-5p)
No call requirement
