We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 40-day assignment starting Oct 19, 2026, in Washington. This crucial role involves managing a high-acuity emergency department with approximately 24,000 annual ED visits, including pediatric cases, within a Trauma designated facility. The schedule offers flexibility with shifts available such as 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 10a-10p.
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.
- Manage high-acuity cases in a Trauma designated emergency department.
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients as needed.
- Utilize Fast Track services for appropriate patient flow.
- Work designated shifts, including 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 10a-10p.
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required.
- The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
- The emergency department has a Level III Trauma designation.
- Fast Track services are available.
- The acuity level is high, with an 11% admission rate.
