Neuro-Ophthalmologist (MD) - 0.6 FTE
Swedish Medical Group is seeking a part-time Neuro Ophthalmologist at the Cherry Hill campus in Seattle, Washington.
Practice Overview- Established neuro-ophthalmology practice within the Swedish Neuroscience Institute (10+ years).
- Current team includes 2 Neuro-Ophthalmologist physicians (1.4 FTE total).
- Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with neurology and neurosurgery.
- Robust clinical support including patient care coordinators, ophthalmic technicians, and a dedicated clinic RN.
- 0.6 FTE (21.6 patient-facing hours) with a predictable, fixed schedule.
- Clinical days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Clinic hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Daily volumes range from 8 to 16 patients, capped at 16 per day.
- New patient visits are 60 minutes; follow-up visits are 30 minutes.
- In-clinic Botox procedures with a dedicated half-day block.
- Advanced diagnostic tools including OCT, Humphrey, Goldman visual fields, and B-scan ultrasound.
- Adult-only patient population with a high consultative referral volume.
- BE/BC American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology.
- Call coverage about 1 week per month.
- Coverage includes multiple Swedish locations.
- Call burden is minimal, often with few or no overnight calls.
- Consistent three-day workweek supports strong work-life balance.

- Compensation is between $191,294 and $243,864 per year.
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
