Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity
A healthcare system in Pennsylvania is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists for full-time locum coverage beginning August 2026. Providers will work across a hospital and ambulatory surgery center setting, supporting a diverse surgical case mix and supervising CRNAs.
Compensation
- Hourly: $370/hour
- Orientation: $370/hour
- Start Date: August 2026
- Ongoing Coverage Need
- Full-Time Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Typical Hours: 6:30 AM-3:30 PM
- Approximately 23 Shifts Per Month
- No Call Requirements
- Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center Coverage
- Primarily Supervision Model With CRNA Support
- Up to 12 Operating Rooms
- Paper Charting System (Future Epic Transition Planned)
- Providers May Float Between Locations as Needed
- General Anesthesiology Services
- CRNA Supervision
- Regional Anesthesia and Preoperative Blocks
- Coverage for GI, Orthopedic, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, and General Surgery Cases
- Comfortable Supervising Up to Four GI Procedure Rooms When Needed
- Adult: 95%
- Pediatric: 5%

Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Eligibility
- DEA Registration
- NPDB Self-Query at Presentation
- Comfortable Supervising Multiple CRNA Rooms, Including High-Volume GI Cases
- At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Anesthesiology - Required
- Active Pennsylvania License in Hand
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
