Seattle Country Day School (SCDS) is an independent school that serves more than 400 gifted students, grades K–8, on a 2.4-acre campus on the north slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington.

• At least a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Academic or professional experience in gifted education, creative problem‑solving, and inquiry-based education is preferred.

• Cover anywhere needed, including implementing lesson plans, classroom management, and student supervision for recess, lunch, and other co‑curricular activities.
• Participate in class outings and grade‑level trips, both domestic and international.
• Attend faculty and department-level meetings, and provide support for all divisions and departments as needed.

This position is full‑time.

SCDS offers a very competitive salary and benefits package. Salary range is $69,000‑$128,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and long‑term disability, excellent retirement plan, and Section 125 plan.
