Sacred Heart School in Bellevue is seeking a full-time religion teacher to join our middle school team in the fall of 2026. The duties of this position will include:

• Teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade religion classes at the school
• Partnering with the youth ministry team in planning and supporting retreats for grades 6-8 at the school
• Leading the student faith commission
• Coordinating service opportunities for students
• Partnering with the Elementary Religion Specialist in a variety of school-wide faith activities

Candidates for this position must be an active, practicing Catholic. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Catholic theology, religion, catechetics, or youth ministry along with classroom teaching experience. Applicants should be interested in working as part of an educational team, comfortable using educational technology to enhance instruction, and able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.

A teaching certification is a plus, but not required.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is from $62,000-$102,000. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
