Assistant Teacher

Mosaic Montessori is growing, and we are excited to welcome a new Assistant Teacher to our team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children in both indoor and outdoor learning environments and values calm, respectful, child-centered education.

• Full-time position
• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Fridays: 7:30 AM–2:30 PM
• School year runs mid-August through mid-June
• Located in Carnation, Washington

• A love for working with children ages Preschool through Kindergarten
• Comfort learning and teaching in nature-based settings
• An interest in Montessori, RIE, or respectful, child-led education
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and flexible throughout the day
• Appreciation for eco-friendly and inclusive learning environments
• Starting at $20/hour
• 30–40 hours per week

With small class sizes—typically a 1:7 ratio—we ensure that every child feels valued and receives personalized attention.
