* Teach 24 credits (graduate courses) per academic year. Teaching duties will align with National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) accreditation requirements.
* Assist with the school psychology graduate program in curriculum development and revisions, program assessment and nurturing clinical partnerships.
* Assist with the preparation of NASP accreditation documentation, processes and activities.
* Assist with recruitment and retention of students.
* Advise and mentor students in academic and professional development situations.
* Engage in service to the school, college, and profession at the local, state and national level.
* Collaborate with others to apply for and secure external funding for program development and growth.
* Collaborate with the Nevada State University marketing team to promote the school psychology graduate program.
* Demonstrated dedication to working with diverse and first-generation student populations.
* Program Director opportunity may be an option for candidates at the Associate or Professor level.
* Must hold qualifications that may be equivalent to the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor upon review by the Nevada State University Promotion and Tenure Committee.
* Doctorate (Ph.D., Ed.D., Psy.
D.) in School Psychology.
* Commitment or
***** demonstrated record of research, scholarly, and/or creative productivity in the area of school psychology. *(

** Must obtain a school psychology license and/or have the potential to earn a Nevada Department of Education school psychologist license.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a school psychologist in the PK-12 setting or equivalent.
* Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor visas for international employees).
* Hold credential as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.
* Demonstrated record of effective teaching in higher education using a variety of methodologies.
* Knowledge and experience supporting PK-12 schools with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
* Experience working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
* Evidence of service to the profession, campus and/or community.
* Bilingual in Spanish.
* Knowledge and expertise in areas closely aligned with school psychology including assessment, ethics and law, special education, consultation and individual and group counseling.
* Detailed CV or resume listing relevant qualifications and experience;
* Letter of interest indicating why you are a good fit for the position and Nevada State University;
