South Seattle College is looking to hire a Full‑Time, Tenure Track Faculty member in Mathematics.
The salary range for this position is $92,571-$109,633 annually for a 9-month contract (September-June). for a 9-month contract (September-June).
Please note that initial salary placement for new faculty is generally at Step 11 ($92,571 annually).

OverviewSouth Seattle College is seeking a full‑time, tenure track mathematics faculty member. The mathematics department resides within South Seattle College's Math, Science, and Business division, where our close‑knit faculty work to support students in bringing their lived experiences, knowledge, and identities with them into the classroom. Our ideal candidate will be open to learning from and engaging with both students and colleagues across the division to create a welcoming, collaborative learning community.
As a small (and nimble!) department, our math faculty members have the unique opportunity to teach courses across the two‑year college math spectrum. Join us in supporting students in building a foundation of analytical skills necessary to be successful throughout their academic and career trajectories. The math department works to decrease barriers to student success, and faculty are continually looking for ways to improve mathematics instruction by actively engaging students in their learning.
This position starts in Fall 2026.
