Summer Activity Camp:
Ceramics / Art Instructor (Magnolia Community Center)
Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Activity Camp Instructor - Ceramics / Art to lead youth art and ceramics camps at Magnolia.
These camps serve youth ages 6-12.
Council: 150 - Magnolia
Hourly Wage: $27.00-$29.50

Schedule
* Monday - Friday
* Shifts available:
* 9:30 a.m.
- 12:30 p.m.
* 1:30 p.m.
- 4:30 p.m.
* 9:30 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m.
Summer Activity Camp:
Ceramics / Art Instructor Responsibilities:
* Plan and lead safe, age-appropriate art and ceramics activities for youth ages 6-12
* Instruct basic ceramics techniques and creative art projects
* Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
* Set up and clean up classroom spaces, tools, and materials
* Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
* Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures
Summer Activity Camp:
Ceramics / Art Instructor
Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Experience teaching art and/or ceramics in a recreational, educational, or community setting
* Experience working with children ages 6-12
* Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
