Brilliant Star Montessori School seeks an Elementary Lead Teacher (9-12) for the 2026 - 2027 school year. The ideal candidate will challenge each child to reach his/her fullest potential academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment.
Overview:Brilliant Star Montessori School opened in 1999 on the island of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands. Brilliant Start School offers programs for children from toddler through 6th grade. There is a Montessori-trained lead teacher and assistant teacher in each classroom, allowing for small student-to-teacher ratios. Brilliant Star offers Music, Art and Physical Education as part of our curriculum for each classroom.
The Northern Mariana Islands are a US territory, and as such, US immigration laws apply on Saipan. The island is a small, close-knit community, and it has a small-town feel to it. Island pace of life is fairly relaxed. Taxation is low (only local taxes apply, no federal taxes). Saipan is located just North of Guam and is roughly 4 hours by air from Korea, Japan, and the Philippines.
Qualifications:Montessori Elementary (3-6) Credentials
