Position: Camp Coordinator (Temporary)

SALARY & FLSA: $20.76 - $24.96 per hour; FLSA non-exempt

The $23 hourly starting pay is structured to be competitive.

This is a seasonal position starting May 21, 2026, to September 4, 2026.

This is a 40 hour per week position. One of the Camp Coordinators will work an 8:00 am - 4:30 pm shift, and the other will work a 9:15 am - 5:45 pm shift.

WHO YOU ARE
  • Are a Scheduling Wiz:
    You can create and maintain daily and weekly schedules for three different camp levels that operate simultaneously. Updating and maintaining camp rosters and emergency binders is a task you can do with ease.
  • Are a Communication Expert:
    Using your expert communication skills you can monitor, respond, and delegate across camp communication channels including calls, emails and radio communications. Leading weekly meetings with camp staff and organizing instructor teambuilding is a task you are excited to take on.
  • Provide Camp Support:
    The prospect of coordinating and assisting with the interviewing, training and onboarding of Camp Instructors excites you. As a Camp Coordinator, you are ready to respond to and assist with campers and instructors' needs during camp as requested or as circumstances dictate.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Order, organize, maintain, and prepare program equipment and supplies.
  • Schedule guest speakers and reserve facilities.
  • Organize tasks for weekly floater instructors.
  • Support camp programming in daily operational needs.
  • Respond to and assist with the needs of campers and instructors during camp as requested or as circumstances dictate.
  • Proactively engage with feedback mechanisms to foster continuous improvement.
  • Attend training sessions and schedule meetings as needed.
  • Support the endofsummer closing procedures of the program as needed.
  • Provide instructor break coverage as needed, including supervision and behavior management of campers.
