Position Overview
The Vice Principal of Student Life fosters a welcoming, inclusive campus culture rooted in the SNJM charism. This role oversees the daily school schedule, student discipline, extracurricular programs, and campus life initiatives, and supervises student activity personnel and programs. As a member of the administrative team, the Vice Principal of Student Life collaborates closely with colleagues to plan, coordinate, and advance the overall operations and mission of the school.
This role begins August 1, 2026. The role is an 11-month contract.
Key Responsibilities Student Behavior & Formation- Implement and oversee the student code of conduct and supportive discipline practices.
- Promote character development aligned with SNJM charism.
- Address behavioral issues and work with counselors, parents, and teachers to support student well‑being.
- Oversee clubs, activities, field trips, and school events.
- Collaborate with Student Activity Coordinator in student leadership and school activities.
- Oversee daily operations, homeroom program, school calendars, and daily schedules.
- Collaborate with counselors, learning support, and others to meet student needs.
- Ensure emergency response protocols, safety procedures, and emergency planning are followed.
- Coordinate supervision and chaperone schedules.
- Maintain communication with students and families regarding student life matters.
- Partner with parents, faculty, and community organizations to enhance student experiences.
- Demonstrated experience working with and building strong relationships with students.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive school environment.
- Ability to work and communicate well with all levels of faculty and staff, students, and parents.
- Adaptability, punctuality, flexibility, maturity, and enthusiasm.
- Salary range is $130,000 - $155,000.

Qualifications Required- Education:
Master’s degree in education or related field - Experience:
5-7 years of experience in education
- Washington State teaching and/or administrator certification
- Experience in leadership position at the high school level
- Experience in a Catholic school
