Spanish Teacher, K-5th grade Job Description

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Catholic faith preferred.
• Knowledge and skills to implement effective instructional strategies for student success.
• Highly organized, motivated, creative, patient, and collaborative.

• Instruction & Curriculum: Develop and implement engaging Spanish lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, and culture.
• Assessment: Evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, and oral presentations.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Communication: Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student development.
• Cultural Immersion: Incorporate cultural, historical, and social aspects of Spanish-speaking countries into the curriculum.
• Technology Integration: Use digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance learning.
• Meet Safe Environment Requirements.
• Support the ICRS mission and philosophy

Hourly wage range: $17.50-$25. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. This position is not eligible for benefits.

While this job is only four hours per week, we can discuss adding additional hours as a classroom aide.

Immaculate Conception Regional School provides an education rooted in Catholic beliefs and values for the students in Skagit and surrounding counties.
