Pay Rate: $17.13/hr - $21.30/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $28.83/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

Role Overview

As a Music Teacher, you will teach music lessons to students following the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum, grow student enrollment, and nurture our culture of integrity and musical passion.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
  • Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
  • Assist with customer service, creating a great student experience.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Student & Parent Partnership
  • Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trust, and respecting parental knowledge.
  • Communicate progress of each student to parents.
  • Share students' goals and progress frequently.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in music, education, or related field.
  • Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.).
  • Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area to be taught.
