Librarian

We are currently hiring an Indian Librarian to join our dynamic team in Washington. As a librarian you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources and providing assistance to library patrons. This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month.

• Manage and organize library materials including books, periodicals, and digital resources
• Assist patrons with locating and accessing library resources
• Develop and maintain library collections by selecting relevant materials for purchase
• Catalog and classify new materials using the Library of Congress Classification system
• Plan and implement library programs and events to promote literacy and learning
• Maintain library records including circulation data, patron information, and collection statistics
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in the field of librarianship

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Prior experience working in a library setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
