Pre‑K Teacher – Overview
Responsible for daily operation of their classroom, providing high‑quality instruction to students in Pre‑K. Cultivate and maintain ongoing relationships with students’ families, staff, and community members.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal/Director
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related certificate
- Demonstrated track record of delivering gains in student academic achievement
- Demonstrated record of living LEARN’s Core Values
- Proficiency in another language
- 1+ year of teaching experience

Pre‑K teachers work in a busy and active classroom environment. They may supervise many activities simultaneously and must provide constant oversight of all children. Duties include frequent lifting and carrying of children and equipment, cleaning and maintaining classroom supplies, walking, standing, bending, and reaching both indoors and outdoors. Physical demands require standing, bending, reaching, stooping, walking up and down stairs several times a day, and lifting, pushing or pulling 15 to 40 pounds for short periods.
