Position: Adjunct, Mathematics at Seattle University Seattle, WA

Position Description

The Mathematics Department at Seattle University is inviting applications for part‑time adjunct faculty to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in mathematics, ranging from college algebra to differential equations. Successful applicants will be responsible for teaching one or more of the department’s classes, typically meeting on MWF or TTh, and for providing at least two hours of office hours per class per week.

Qualifications
  • PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science.
  • Teaching experience across multiple areas of mathematics preferred.
Compensation
  • Salary range: $1,100–$1,300 per work unit.
  • Salary offered will be based on qualifications, departmental budget, internal equity, and market information.
