Summer Activity Camp:
Art Camp Instructor (High Point CC)
The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation, is hiring an Art Camp Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for programming and delivering art & crafting class to kids aged 7-12. This camp focuses on hands-on art projects designed to encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression. Participants will explore a variety of materials and techniques while creating fun projects in a supportive camp environment.
The instructor must have the ability to engage with a diverse group of children and manage a classroom of students. A passion for arts and crafts is a must!

* $25.00-$27.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate activity camp lesson plans/activities to kids ages 7-12 for a camp
* Encourage creativity and participation among campers
* Maintain documentation on camp participants to ensure security and youth safety- including but not limited to sign in sheets, medical needs and parenting plans
* Use critical thinking to problem-solve and manage conflict
* Generate supply lists for each camp; there will be some class supply funds available
* Maintain camp appropriate professional appearance
* Daily set-up, take down and cleaning of space

Minimum Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Prior youth programming experience required
* Must have demonstrated working experience working with families, community members and partners to foster positive relationships
