Summer Activity Camp Instructor
- Floater/Substitute (Montlake Community Center)

The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation, is hiring a Summer Activity Camp Instructor (Floater/Substitute) to deliver camps at Montlake Community Center. The Activity Camp Instructor (Floater/Substitute) will be responsible for programming and delivering Activity Camp classes to children aged 5-13 years. Instructor must have the ability to engage with a diverse group of children and manage a classroom of students.

This role will primarily function as a "floater" supporting various camps while a dedicated instructor develops and delivers the lesson plan on a given topic (nature camp, all sports, pottery). Secondarily to this, the Instructor (Floater/Substitute) will periodically cover the dedicated instructors class when they are absent. The Instructor (Floater/Substitute) will also be responsible to supervise a "Lunch Club." Lesson plans will be provided though creativity and flexibility will still be important.

A passion for working with youth, fun and (of course) safety is a must!
