Blazer Jobs is partnered with school districts in Norwalk, CT and is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team. The role involves working closely with students with diverse learning needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and implementing effective instructional strategies to support their academic and social growth. Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction in small group and one-on‑one settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student performance and progress toward IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reviews.
• Use positive behavior support strategies to manage classroom behavior.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Valid state teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
