The Development and Communications Specialist is a position within Sea Mar's Administration Department and works under the direction of the SVP of Supportive Services/Chief Compliance Officer. The Development and Communications Specialist is responsible for assisting in the research, writing, and submission of federal, state, city, private and corporate grant applications, as well as coordination of individual donations and fundraising campaigns including event sponsor ships.

The Development and Communications Specialist supports agency-wide communications and media activities including developing and editing publications, coordinating special events marketing, producing content for brochures, flyers, annual report, website and other publications, and coordinating the production of marketing materials. The successful candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compile, interpret, and utilize information; is able to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines and prioritize tasks;

is well organized and has good attention to detail. An undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Hourly - Hourly Plan, 33.65 USD Hourly
