FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
UPrep is seeking a curious, motivated, and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Intern to help us advance our vision of being an inclusive community of learners that provides an outstanding education for each individual in a diverse student population. Under general supervision, the Marketing and Communications Intern will work closely with the Interim Director of Marketing and Communications. Responsibilities include formatting and sending out the weekly All‑School Email to families, capturing and creating social media content, and writing for the school’s blog and/or magazine.
This is a part‑time, paid, in‑person position of up to 10 hours per week during school hours (Monday–Friday; 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) beginning in late‑August 2026. Schedule is flexible, but availability on Thursdays is preferred.
Required Education & Experience- Current college student with an interest in communications or marketing
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- A team player able to take direction and initiative
- Strong organizational skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility, eagerness to learn, and a sense of humor
This position is paid $23 per hour and is eligible for statutory benefits only.
