Special Education Teacher – Early Childhood

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher that is available for the 2025/2026 school year.

• Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA) with appropriate endorsement.
• Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs.
• At least one year of teaching experience with students with a variety of disabilities, including students with behavior disorders and other learning and cognitive delays (preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical capacity to stand or sit for extended periods, see/read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids, hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone, speak in audible tones; understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment or materials up to approximately 40 pounds.

• Support students with special education needs in a school setting.
• Deliver small-group and individualized instruction.
• Manage IEPs and document student progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families.
• Maintain compliance with district and state requirements.

• Contract through the school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week; follows the academic district calendar.

$1,800 – $1,850 per week.
