Job SummaryThis is a 0.47 FTE non‑continuing contract position for a Music Overload Teacher for the school year. Under the direction of the Principal, the teacher will develop in each student an appreciation of the art of music as part of general culture; teach techniques of vocal or instrumental music expression; discover and develop talents of students in the field of music;
and develop knowledge and skills in listening to and reading music.
Salary range: $78,616 – $156,126 per the Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full year and/or part‑time employees.
Contract:
180 days, includes 12 sick days and 3 personal days per year (prorated for less than a full year and/or part‑time employees).
Elementary Education / Music
Qualifications- Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
