This position provides curriculum design and basic skills instruction for out‑of‑school youth enrolled in the Center for Education and Career Opportunity (CECO) at Shoreline Community College. CECO is a re‑engagement school that serves students who have dropped out of high school and supports them to and through a college education, free. CECO students are predominantly low‑income and youth of color. These students are statistically less likely to succeed in traditional education and are under‑represented in higher education.

CECO has more than twenty‑five years of experience successfully serving these underserved students. We are looking for a strong instructor who can work with 16‑21‑year‑old students, implement relationship‑building strategies, and bring a thorough understanding of equity and social justice to support students toward their academic and other goals.
