As an Assistant Director, you will partner closely with the Center Director to support daily operations, develop teachers, and create a high-quality learning environment for children and families.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who is ready to grow into a Center Director role.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with the Center Director to manage daily center operations, including staffing, enrollment, and compliance
  • Coach and support teachers to deliver high-quality classroom experiences
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, including conducting tours and supporting enrollment efforts
  • Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania licensing regulations and company standards
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention of teaching staff
  • Step into classrooms or leadership coverage as needed to maintain ratios and quality

    Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging center culture
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or related field with at least 1 year of childcare experience
  • Associate’s degree in ECE or related field with at least 2 years of childcare experience
  • High School Diploma or GED, 30 college credits in ECE-related coursework, and at least 3 years of childcare experience
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff preferred
  • Ability to meet state background check and health requirements
