Qualifications:
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting psycho educational assessments and creating data-driven educational plans
  • Strong communication skills for working with staff, students, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP process, behavior intervention, and consultation services
  • Ability to travel between school sites if needed
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students
  • Develop individualized recommendations and intervention strategies
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams on IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Provide crisis intervention, direct student support, and counseling
  • Consult with educators, families, and administrators to promote student success
  • Keep thorough records and stay up to date with compliance and documentation requirements
