Adjunct Instructor for Psychology Program
The Division of Applied and Behavioral Sciences at Seattle Pacific University offers faith integrated academic programs in Clinical Psychology (PhD), Industrial and Organizational Psychology (MA and PhD), Marriage and Family Therapy (MS), Psychology (BA/BS/MS), and Medical Family Therapy (Professional/post-graduate). All programs emphasize the integration of practice, theory, research, and professional preparation for psychology-relevant careers in clinical and organizational contexts.
The undergraduate Psychology program offers occasional opportunities for adjunct instructors. Courses vary by topic and academic term, and application review occurs continuously as needs arise. Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in area of discipline.
- A personal commitment to Christian faith, enthusiasm about supporting SPU's mission, alignment with the university's Statement of Faith, and willingness to accept the lifestyle standards of the Christian community.
Additional Information:
Applications will be reviewed on a regular basis, as needs arise.
Compensation:
$1000 per credit for adjuncts at the masters level and $1200 per credit for individuals with a PhD.
