Music Teacher – Seattle & Bellevue/Mercer Island Area

We are looking for a passionate and skilled multi‑instrumentalist to provide one‑on‑one music lessons in Seattle, WA. The role involves teaching students of all ages and levels, developing personalized lesson plans, mentoring progress, and fostering a love for music.

• Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans for students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Teach guitar, piano, voice, drums, wind instruments, brass, and other instruments as needed.
• Mentor students, monitor progress, and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain a professional and inspiring learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events when appropriate.

• Strong foundation in Music Theory and Music Education.
• Proficiency in musical performance on multiple instruments (guitar, voice, piano, drums, winds, brass).
• Demonstrated ability to teach and inspire students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, passion for teaching, and commitment to student growth.
• Prior teaching experience desirable.
• Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of teaching experience.
• Professional performance background.
• Experience teaching multiple instruments.
• Ensemble coaching experience.
• Recording or production experience.

$40‑$60 per hour, depending on location, student needs, schedule structure, and experience.

We prioritize teachers who can teach during our peak hours:
Monday‑Friday 2:00 PM–8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon.

Primary in‑person instruction at our Seattle and Bellevue/Mercer Island locations; virtual lessons acceptable when needed.

Seattle – Central Seattle and Madison Valley.

Bellevue/Mercer Island – New Eastside expansion location.
