Overview
Alpha School seeks a Youth Program Manager to lead a student cohort and guide a team of Coaches (Guides). The role focuses on delivering life‑skills and social‑emotional learning workshops while ensuring high standards of student progress and engagement.
Responsibilities- Facilitate one‑hour live workshops for K‑8 students on topics such as public speaking and concentration.
- Conduct daily motivation sessions to ensure 100% of students reach weekly application targets.
- Develop Guides through observation, feedback, and coaching so they conduct workshops with equal intensity and accuracy.
- Analyze Coachbot data and student records to identify students needing support and provide direct intervention.
- Mentor the assigned student cohort and model coaching techniques for all Guides.
- Observe and resolve under‑performance in real time; collaborate with Guides to maintain documented advancement.
- Reside in or be prepared to relocate to one of the following:

Greenwich, CT;
Boca Raton, FL;
Miami, FL;
Boston, MA;
Raleigh, NC;
New York City, NY;
Seattle, WA (relocation assistance available). - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline;
Master’s preferred. - Minimum five years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable area.
- Demonstrated experience creating and executing educational programs, curricula, or training frameworks.
- Proven history of managing a team of five or more, including recruitment and performance‑based decisions.
- Background in coaching, mentoring, or delivering constructive feedback to enhance engagement and outcomes.
- Professional experience with youth aged 5–14 in educational or developmental environments.
- Skilled in leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Business.
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator where children were motivated toward quantifiable goals.
- History of coaching adults in performance‑measured positions.
- Comfortable engaging large groups of children with an authoritative presence.
- Annual salary of $200,000, disbursed weekly.
- Health, dental, and vision benefits effective immediately.
- Full‑time position (40 hours per week) with relocation assistance for eligible locations.
- Independent contractor relationship through Crossover as Contractor of Record; payment period is weekly.
