Qualifications
  • Must have an AA in ECE or Bachelors degree in ECE, Child Development/Family Studies, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education with a concentration in early childhood education.
  • The person selected for this position must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a childcare center and possess knowledge of basic early childhood development.
  • Candidates must comply with minimum DCYF licensing requirements described in Chapter 110-300 of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC).
  • Be proficient in non-punitive discipline methods.
  • Current certification of CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen training, within two weeks of hire.
  • Documented negative TB test.
  • Documented Measles Mumps and Rubella vaccine.
  • Current Washington State Food Worker Card, within one week of hire.
