Seattle Early Learning Center (West Seattle 98116).
Seattle Early Learning Center is a family of WA state DCYF licensed preschools. We are locally owned and operated, where owners are onsite on a daily basis.
We are hiring an experienced Supervisor or Director, based on your qualification and experience, for our licensed Preschool in West Seattle. You must have a minimum of 47 ECE credits and a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Director or Supervisor at a licensed Preschool in WA state. Spanish language as an addition is encouraged.
The job entails managing a Preschool, where the Supervisor (Director) will communicate and coordinate daily operations with the Area Manager or CEO. The work is not remote. Our preschool is open between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. The Preschool has around 60 kids.
The preschool is well established and fully staffed. The position is a full‑time job; however, pending on qualifications and experience, we can discuss other working hours. The person must be there when the preschool opens and when it closes.
Minimum Requirements- 47 Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits, or a completed Bachelor ECE degree registered with MERIT.
- Minimum three years of licensed preschool work.
- Merit account and portable background check.
- DCYF certificates & orientation.
- WA state approved first-aid and CPR for children and adults.
- TB test by the Mantoux method.
- Food handler card.
- HIV/AIDS/Blood‑borne pathogen training certification.
- MMR vaccine.
- Oversee preschool operations including quality assurance and facility operations.
- Comply with state childcare licensing regulations.
- Follow SELC policies and procedures and communicate them to staff and parents.
- Support all aspects of the center to ensure quality performance standards and program practices.
- Maintain preschool records.
- Develop strong relationships with families.
- Provide training and support to staff, focusing on early childhood education and developmental needs, and cover for a teacher, aide or cook as needed.
- All additional requirements and responsibilities will be discussed during job interviews based on qualifications and experience.

Pay$58,000 - $80,000 per year.
