North Seattle College is looking to hire an Associate Dean of Workforce Instruction
.

Salary Range for this position is $89,000 to $118,000 annually.

As the Associate Dean of Workforce Instruction, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the success of the Workforce Instruction division through collaborative, relationship-centered leadership.

Working closely with the Dean, faculty, and staff, you will help ensure the division operates effectively while driving continuous improvement and innovation. In this role, you will act on behalf of the Dean when delegated, provide leadership and support to division faculty and staff, collaborate on program, division, and college-wide planning and operations, and build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Together, these efforts will help create high-quality learning experiences and support students in achieving successful educational and employment outcomes.

As delegated by the Dean of Workforce Instruction, the Associate Dean is responsible for the following essential functions:

• Oversee Workforce Instruction faculty, staff, and instructional operations, including supervision, hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage faculty assignments and staffing in compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
• Support faculty in curriculum development, outcomes assessment, program review, onboarding, professional development, and tenure processes.
• Coordinate with faculty program coordinators on scheduling, pathways initiatives, campus events, advisory committees, and other academic activities.
• Respond to student concerns and complaints and approve academic requests such as grade changes, course substitutions, and Prior Learning Assessments.
